Experts of Japanese technical cooperation made ​​a presentation to a group of professionals from the Ministry of Agriculture on the study of technologies related to the use of satellites in Peru, especially for monitoring the agricultural sector.

In this regard, the communications office said Masatane Rural Agro Kato, Sato Horoshi Nokuaki Nagoaka and experts from USEF, NEC and PASCO (Unmanned Space Agency of Japan) have the mission to give lectures at various institutions of Peru (government universities and private sector) on the use of space satellites for information gathering.

For its part, the Japanese experts said that “it is the beginning of further cooperation between Peru and Japan, with the goal of Peru has its own satellite earth observation for different applications and thus allow to acquire information from other countries that have with this technology. “
